Certifications

Lighthouse Christian Academy was founded, and remains today, a center submitted to the strict licensing requirements of the State of Florida. As a ministry of a church it was possible to avoid such oversight but we feel it is important to be the best we can be and we know the state is strict enough and helpful enough to help us be just that.

Many of LCA's teachers are also certified. Our staff is made up of teachers who have CDA's, which are college-level degrees in child development, and those who have at least 40 hours of classroom time. Check out our page that tells more details about what a CDA is.
