At Lighthouse Christian Academy we are an extension to the family for the children we teach and care for.  It is great to have the opportunity to be a part of  each others life.   Each month we will share a family of  LCA.  This month we have the honor of sharing the:

The Aguilar Family

This month we have the honor of spotlighting  the “Aguilar Family” The Aguilar family includes dad, mom and son. Miguel (dad) was born Managua, Nicaragua and has lived in Key West for ten years.     Stacey, (Mom) was born in Euclid, Ohio but grew up in Virginia Beach.  She has lived in Key West for fifteen years.  Miguel was born right here in Key West two years ago.   To complete the family they have two cats, which Miguel calls meow-meow’s.  They’re both around 18 years old and are named Gizmo and Draino. “We love to spend our time together outdoors.  On the weekends we spend a lot of time at the pool, kayaking or out on the boat.  Miguel’s favorite thing to do after school is to ride his tricycle.  Miguel also goes to swim classes at FKCC”  Stacey shares.  She also states  that “Miguel is the light of our lives and we are so fortunate to have chosen the Lighthouse for our daycare.  Everyday he develops new skills.  It seems he is growing and changing so very fast.  One of my favorite things is to see him interacting with all of his friends.  When I take him in the morning, he is so excited to get inside and runs to class and now he’s even more excited that he gets to start the day at the playground!  It’s the best thing in the world to see him so happy and we have everyone, staff and all the other families, to thank”.
We are glad to have the Aguilar Family as part of our Lighthouse Family.
